TOP1. Cullinan - African Star

The largest diamond in the world to date was discovered on January 27, 1905 in Burymer, Zaire, South Africa. The diamond was named "Cullinan" and weighed 3,106 carats.

According to geologists, the Cullinan diamond crystals are only one-third of the original intact crystals, and two-thirds of them are not found. Gemstone experts estimate that Cullinan is worth $7.5 billion.
