It has been revealed that smart textiles containing phase-change materials can regulate temperature automatically. When the ambient temperature rises, the phase-change material absorbs heat, transitioning from solid to liquid, thus lowering the skin temperature. Conversely, when the temperature drops, the material releases stored heat, returning to a solid state, which helps reduce heat loss from the body, maintaining a stable body temperature and creating a comfortable "microclimate" for the wearer.
This innovative fabric has a wide range of applications, including bedding, footwear, undergarments, and jackets, offering great potential for future development. In addition, the emergence of pearl fiber fabric marks another major achievement and breakthrough by Lions in the field of high-end, health-conscious, and functional fabrics.
According to Mr. Xia, who spoke to reporters in the industry, Lions' remarkable progress in functional fabric R&D is largely due to the government's strong support and the tireless efforts of researchers. Under the sustained guidance and encouragement of the Shishi municipal government, researchers have successfully developed over 20 types of high-quality, health-focused, and eco-friendly fabrics, such as bamboo fiber and soybean protein fiber (vinylon). Each year, more than 3,000 new products are introduced to the market. Many of these fabrics hold leading positions in the industry, with leisure fabric R&D standing at the forefront of domestic competitors.
It is also reported that this year, projects like "ultra-thin high-density fabric," "modified fiber fabric," and "bamboo fiber fabric" have made remarkable progress, with a considerable portion already entering production and receiving high praise from the market. These developments highlight Lions' ongoing commitment to innovation and their growing influence in the textile industry.
