Shishi Functional Fabrics R & D results frequently reported

In 2010, the research and development achievements of the Lions' functional fabrics were frequently reported. Yesterday, a reporter learned from relevant authorities that in 2009, the city's key project on bamboo fiber shoe antibacterial and deodorant composite materials made significant breakthroughs, and the new products are expected to be launched soon. It is understood that smart textiles containing phase-change materials have a regenerative thermostat function. When the ambient temperature rises, the phase-change material absorbs heat, transitioning from solid to liquid, thus lowering the skin temperature. Conversely, when the temperature drops, the material releases stored heat, changing back to a solid state, which helps reduce heat loss from the body and maintain a stable body temperature. This creates a comfortable "clothing microclimate" for the wearer, ensuring continuous comfort throughout the day. These advanced fabrics have broad applications, including bedding, footwear, undergarments, and jackets, and show great potential for future development. In addition, the introduction of pearl fiber fabric marks a new achievement and breakthrough by Lions in the development of high-end, health-focused, and functional textiles. According to Mr. Xia, who spoke to reporters in the industry, Lions' remarkable progress in functional fabric R&D is mainly due to strong government support and the relentless efforts of researchers. In recent years, with the strong backing and nurturing of the Shishi municipal government, researchers have successfully developed over 20 types of high-quality, health-conscious, and eco-friendly fabrics, such as bamboo fiber and soybean protein fiber (vinylon). Each year, more than 3,000 new fabric products are introduced to the market. Many of these innovative fabrics hold leading positions in the industry, with their R&D in leisure fabrics standing at the forefront of domestic competitors. It is reported that this year, projects such as "ultra-thin high-density fabric," "modified fiber fabric," and "bamboo fiber fabric" have also achieved great progress, with a considerable portion already in production and receiving high market recognition. These developments highlight the ongoing innovation and competitiveness of the Lions in the textile industry.
