"Knife and Ruler National Style-2020 China Linen Textile Apparel Innovation Design Competition" will be held at the main venue of the 7th Jiangxi International Linen Textile Expo at 09:30 in the morning at Fenyi International Linen Textile City Publishing Hall! The 21 finalists of the designer and contestants were present on the scene, showing their style and blooming gorgeously. After fierce competition and intense selection, the major awards were finally "launched" and the awards were presented at the closing ceremony of the Ma Expo that night. Design innovation is the driving force for the development of the clothing industry, and as the source of Chinese traditional textiles-hemp textile culture, it is necessary to further stimulate and infuse the creative enthusiasm of emerging design forces, and continue to make more diverse, fashionable, innovative, More living design elements permeate cotton and linen textile products. The 2020 China Linen Textile Apparel Innovation Design Competition is sponsored by the China Linen Textile Industry Association. It aims to encourage the innovation of hemp textile apparel design, build a market-oriented commercial transformation platform for cotton and linen apparel design, and further revitalize the high-quality upgrade development of the hemp textile industry chain. Young designers realize their dreams!

A total of 94 groups of contestants from 33 professional fashion design colleges across the country signed up for this competition. After a professional and rigorous preliminary evaluation by the expert review committee, a total of 21 groups of contestants were selected for today's national finals. Dong Chunxing, President of China Linen Textile Industry Association, Yang Zi, China's Top Ten Fashion Designers, Shi Jie, China's Top Ten Fashion Designers, Qiu Xinhai, Chairman of Enda Group, and Fang Jing, Founder of Jingjie Fashion Design Management Co., Ltd., served as the competition Expert judges. There are 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals in the competition. There are 5 shortlist awards, the best market value award, the best craftsmanship award, the best cultural creativity award, the best color application award, and the best design innovation award. And 10 outstanding designers awards.


1. "Back to Nature"

The first group to appear is Wang Ziwei from Nanchang University. Her design theme is "Return to Nature". The series of works are developed with linen textiles, incorporating modern popular elements, so that they integrate the ancients and the present, and learn from others.


2. "I Will Seek Up and Down"

The second group appeared on the stage by Ruan Xunkai from Minnan Institute of Technology. His design theme was "I Will Seek Up and Down". In this series of works, "the road is long and long, I will search from above and below" to shape the shape of clothing and explore the way of traditional philosophy.


3. "Daughter Box, Yiren Tears"

The third group is Wang Yiran and Li Aiwen from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Their design theme is "Daughter Box, Yiren Tears". This series of works presents the fusion of folk culture and modern costumes by using traditional patterns or features such as plants, ceramics, and opera.


4. "Dyeing with the flow"

The fourth group is Song Hanmo from the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, and her design theme is "Let's Get Dyed". The series uses natural dyes, uses natural linen fabrics to present harmonious colors and textures, combined with women's elegant and light skirts, with smooth lines and exquisite craftsmanship, setting off the wearer's dignified and elegant manner.


5. "Jade Guanyin"

The fifth group is Qian Zhicheng from Jiangnan University. His design theme is "Jade Guanyin". This series of works starts with Buddhist beliefs, uses jade as an introduction, and deconstructs the interspersed clothing structure design, whose form corresponds to the robes to interpret the "Zen" meaning.


6. "Lin'an Landscape West Lake "

The sixth group was played by Guan Yazheng and Wang Yeli from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Their design theme is "Lin'an, West Lake, Mountain and Water". This series of works deconstructed and reorganized the representative elements of Hangzhou’s local culture-West Lake landscape, pavilions, water ripples, ancient paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty, etc., and cheongsam elements, showing the classical dignity and calmness of the ancient Lin'an Jiangnan culture. 7. " Sweet Flower "

The seventh group is Liu Jingru from Hebei University of Science and Technology. Her design theme is "Sweet Flower". This series of works combines the traditional costumes of various dynasties in China, using traditional Chinese embroidery and handmade silk flowers to reflect the exquisite luxury of clothing.


8. "Easy"

Fan Hua and Peng Chao from Hebei Normal University participated in the eighth group. Their design theme was "Easy". This series of works combines the characteristics of traditional Chinese costumes with modern aesthetic needs, presenting a free, unrestrained and unique personality style.


9. "Shadow"

The ninth group was played by Wang Xianying and Yu Yi from Jiangnan University. Their design theme was "Shadow". This series of works adhere to the simple, simple and elegant design style, adopting a loose and comfortable layout style, combining traditional printing and dyeing elements and Chinese design techniques with modern aesthetic vision.


10. "Regulations. Gathering"

Xie Yi and Zheng Lili from Fujian Normal University participated in the tenth group. Their design theme was "Gathering." The series of works are based on the simple style of oriental imagery, adopting Zen-style black, white and gray plain colors. The fabrics are mainly natural and comfortable washed cotton and linen, and the simple, natural and comfortable "simple" is expressed in the language of clothing.


11. "The Roller Begonia is Still"

The eleventh group is Xiong Xin from Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology. Her design theme is "The Roller Begonia Is Still". This series of works uses traditional Chinese fabrics and pattern elements, combined with the design language of modern clothing for interpretation, conveying the concept and lifestyle of advocating nature, paying attention to emotion, and continuing cultural connotation.


12. "Wei Ran"

The twelfth group came from Cheng Cheng and Lin Jing from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Their design theme is "Wei Ran". This series of works presents design inspiration and concepts with the six themes of "proud", "lotus", "man", "middle", "curly" and "tough".


13. "Coral Bleaching"

In the thirteenth group, An Qinli from Quanzhou Textile and Clothing College, her design theme is "Coral Whitening". This series of works takes the phenomenon of coral bleaching due to the rising ocean temperature as the design inspiration and concept, to remind people to protect and care for the environment.


14. "Self-Dyeing Growth"

The fourteenth group is Huang Aofeng from Hainan University. His design theme is "Self-Contaminated Growth". This series of works uses traditional ancient blue dyeing as the series of colors, and combines traditional folk handicrafts to inherit and innovate clothing that meets modern aesthetics.


15. "The Invisible Realm"

In the fifteenth group, Yin Shiqi from Nanchang University appeared. Her design theme was "Invisible Realm". The series of works are inspired by the smoky sceneries between mountains and rivers. Through streamlined tailoring and gradual colors, they show the beauty of freehand brushwork hidden in the invisible but infinitely extending.


16. "Mobius"

The sixteenth group is Yang Shilin from Guangdong Vocational and Technical College. Her design theme is "Mobius". This series of works combines the charm of ancient tie-dye art with modern society with the infinity and circulation symbolized by Mobius, so that it has the beauty of literati painting and ink rhythm and the beauty of symbolic realism.


17. "Free Growth"

The seventeenth group appeared on the stage of Peng Huang Shishi from Guangxi Academy of Arts. Her design theme is "Free Growth". This series of works combines modern style with texture wrinkled linen materials, and uses traditional ethnic tie-dye to highlight the unique and quiet blue, designing a trendy and ethnic style, showing the tension of modern Chinese cultural expression.


18. "Ink"

The eighteenth group appeared in Li Yaya from Nanchang University, and her design theme was "Ink". The series of works are inspired by traditional Chinese black and white ink and wash styles, and lead an endless trajectory with simple, simple and flexible clothing language.


19. "Clean Heart Mantra"

The nineteenth group appeared in Guo Tianzi from Donghua University. Her design theme was "Cleansing Heart Mantra". This series of works from the Chinese ethnic minorities through the worship of gods, their exploration of the form and structure of their clothing combined with modern clothing styles, wash away the impetuous and uneasy.

The twentieth group appeared in Yue Man from Soochow University, and her design theme was "Utility". This series of works revolve around Chinese culture, combining traditional cotton and linen materials, embroidery techniques with fashion elements for clothing design display, integrating traditional culture with contemporary fashion, and striving to reflect the tension of modern Chinese culture.


21. "Wandering in the Mountains and Seas"

In the twenty-first group, Zhu Hanyi from Fuzhou Institute of Foreign Languages ​​and Trade, whose design theme is "Wandering in Mountains and Seas". The series of works are inspired by the parallel of the sea and the mountain, the ink painting elements are integrated into the single product of plant and wood dyed cotton and linen, and they are shaped by the method of thorny felt. The colors are bright and the effect is realistic.

As an important symbol of the oriental clothing civilization, the hemp textile culture is even more known as "the source of national textiles and the ancestor of clothing for thousands of years". This competition highlights the concepts of healthy ecology, green environmental protection, fashion art, and technological innovation.
