The first national "festival craft gift" enterprise alliance standard formulation

The holiday craft gift industry is one of the key industrial clusters in Chenghai District, yet these products have not been officially standardized at the national level in China. To further promote regional product upgrades and the sustainable development of industrial clusters, the quality supervision department of Chenghai District has proposed to the local government the establishment of a corporate alliance standard for “Festival Craft Gifts.” Currently, the collection of technical production indicators and related data has been completed, and the six enterprise alliance standards are nearly finalized. This initiative is leading in the province and even nationwide, laying a solid foundation for future national and industry standard development. In recent years, the quality supervision department has actively encouraged enterprises to follow the path of “technological patenting, patent standardization, and standard internationalization,” helping companies transition from simple manufacturing to innovation-driven models with independent intellectual property. For example, after years of effort, Chenghai has seen several toy companies take part in the development of national standards. Today, seven local companies, such as Aofei Animation, Yihua Wood, and Lion Power Supply, are leading or participating in the formulation of national, industry, and provincial standards. Through active involvement in standardization activities, these companies have strengthened their influence in the regional market and maintained strong competitiveness even during the global financial crisis. This proactive approach not only enhances their market position but also contributes to the long-term growth of the local industry.
