PRADA Paris old store reopened

After the expansion and renovation of the store's architectural structure and appearance, Prada's old store in the suburban area of ​​Saint-Honoré, Paris, France was re-opened. An arc-shaped, black marble staircase with ebony-decorated walls leads to the second-floor men's collection.

After the expansion and renovation of the store's architectural structure and appearance, Prada was reopened in the old shop of Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris, France.

The store was designed by the architect Roberto Baciocchi. It originated from the evolution of the theme of the image design of retail shops in modern history studied by Prada and explained the brand's architectural language. This building is unique to the palace of the early 19th century in the centre of Paris.

The store has three floors and occupies an area of ​​1900 square meters. It provides accessories for men and women, leather goods, shoes and ready-to-wear products.

The building's façade features architectural elements pristine for Prada's original store at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan: curved windows, window frames; metal and colorful fabric awnings Joining adds a modern touch to the overall design.

The first floor is a stunning corridor made of marble and mirrors, leading to different areas. High-grade leather goods are displayed in special areas decorated with Prada green fabrics, while various accessories are displayed in spaces composed of black marble and mirrors.

The black-and-white marble floors laid in the hallway are inherited from Prada luxury boutiques and historical images. This application has a visual impact.

The perspective effect produced by this design emphasizes the display in the center of the room, while making some privacy areas even more special.

Through a novel interpretation of Prada's historic exhibition niche, the walls of the store have also been updated: a large hanging display rack made of crystal and palladium metal.

After the customer walks through this series of areas, he eventually arrives at a curved display case of crystal glass, which seems to be extended by a spiral-wound pattern drawn on the floor. The display case of this shoe display is set in contrast to the soft green velvet curtains in the room.

The brightly colored Saffiano display, red, green, and blue, is an ingenious part of the showcase design. The dark green velvet-covered "leaf-leaf" shaped sofa was created by Verner Panton specifically for Prada, making the environment look soft and charming.

A black marble staircase extending from a large display rack leads from the first floor to a basement dedicated to the display of women's ready-to-wear collections.

The walls are completely covered with green silk curtains, making it a studio full of modern and artistic colors; fitting here, the private experience seems to spread throughout the space.

The contrasting plexiglass display cases, transparent skylights, plexiglass and steel unusually shaped table tops, and soft green velvet sofas make the space attractive.

On the third floor is an elegantly styled exclusive private apartment-style suite, facing the suburban street of Saint Honoré and used to treat the most special guests of Prada.
