Hetian jade collection terms

Hetian Baiyu is called by the Chinese national jade and domestic jade. It is also known as the first of the four famous ancient jades. Coarse Ming: Many collectors believe that the jade of the Ming Dynasty was rough, so it was named. The fact is that, like the Han Badao does not mean that the Han Dynasty jade only uses eight knives, the thick Mingte indicates the rough style of the jade. In contrast, the jade of the Qing Dynasty was indeed exquisite and delicate, but there was not a famous jade master like Ming Luzigang. Without the foundation of the Ming Dynasty jade carving process, how could jade jade carving in the Qing Dynasty emerge from ancient to modern times?

Chicken Bones: Ancient jade was unearthed in alkaline soil and was mostly limed and white. There are different shades of lime, so the ancients divided them into whites, chicken bones, white ivory, white snowflakes and so on.
