Haifeng Jewelry Culture Festival collects emblems, mascots and theme songs

The first jewellery and cultural festival of China·Haifeng will be held in Haifeng County from October 14th to 16th. The organizers will launch the collection of “emblem, mascot and theme song” to the whole country.

The first cultural festival centered on the theme of “Jewelry Capital, Taobao World”, and set up two venues, “Ketang Town Jewelry Trading Market” and “Chengdong Town Dongvia International Jewelry Square”, and held large-scale cultural performances and summit forums. Jewelry-related themed events such as project promotion, merchandising and special tourism.

In recent years, Haifeng County has formulated a number of supportive preferential policies to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional advantageous industries such as Ketang Town Jewelry and Meilong Town Gold and Silver Jewelry. According to statistics, in 2013, there were more than 4,800 jewellery and gold and silver jewellery processing enterprises in Haifeng County, employing nearly 100,000 people. The total processing of jewellery in Ketang Town is more than 50,000 tons, of which crystal products account for more than 70% of the world's total processing. The total processing capacity of gold in Meilong Town is 240 tons. According to industry estimates, there are 3 pieces of gold and silver jewelry in China from Meilong.
