Q: What are the requirements for thin raw jade carving materials?

çž¿: Generally speaking, the requirements for jade in thin jade carvings are much stricter than those in other jade carvings. The use of thin engraving, the loss of raw materials is very small, but because of this, the raw material grade must be high, whiteness, fineness, oiliness, etc. are indispensable, and only in this way, the texture and craft of jade can complement each other and complement each other. Usually, we mainly use regular square or round cards.

Question: What is the emphasis on the craft of thin jade carving?

Hi: From my personal point of view, I am not against computer workers, although my own studio never uses them. The times are developing, tools and equipment are also developing. If we are still using the jade carving tools of the ankles, it will not only cause waste of resources, but also may not be able to achieve a hundred flowers, a hundred schools of thought contend, it is impossible to have so many beautiful works . Computer workers can significantly reduce the cost of some low-end products, and also ensure that they meet the minimum process requirements. However, computer workers generally do not handle the details in detail, and the work is dull and unconstrained. But as far as I am concerned, my studio is not big and the output is very low. I hope that every product of my product is a boutique, so I did not use computer workers. Generally speaking, the hand-made jade carving works will be more expensive, and the computer workers will be relatively cheap. There is no right or wrong in this respect.
