California carpet recycling law comes into force

July 1st was the date when the Californian carpet recycling law AB2398 officially came into force. It was also the first country-specific law. Georgina Sikorski, the highest director of the United States Rug Recycling Research Achievement Department, said: "Everyone involved in carpet recycling law AB2398, including Carpet manufacturers, retailers, and distributors are all actively preparing to meet the requirements of this law. Starting July 1, all carpets entering California will need to include an assessment tax of $0.05 per square yard."

The American carpet reproduction department Georgina Sikorski also said: “Everyone involved in promoting the AB2398 news and working tirelessly has distributed brochures and posted posters, including articles in magazines, online publicity and interviews with the press. We have done a lot of work to get the audiences in different fields to accept and understand this new law as much as possible.” The top CARE director said: “Of course, CARE executive directors and I have always looked forward to an audience call to reflect their expectations of this new law. And views."
