My understanding of snuff bottles was in 1980 with Tianjin Foreign Trade. The snuff bottle prevailed in the Qing Dynasty. It is a container for snuff (imported goods). It resembles a small medicine bottle in ancient Chinese medicine shop. It is called a box in the West. Wang Gonggui or the giant Jia is a fashion to sniff snuff, "there are good people, there will be awkwardness", that is, it is a common practice. Treating guests with noble snuff bottles symbolizes "giving a good fortune", and often "hands to show the understanding, giving snuff", as a gift, to show friendship and respect.

It is said that in the four years of Jiaqing, the family has copied more than 800 white jade pots, more than 100 agate smokers, and more than 100 Hanyu pots. The popularity of the snuff bottle is visible.

According to records, there are 14 places in the palace, such as Jin Yu Zuo and Ruyi Museum, to make snuff bottles and other court toys. Most of them were Suzhou specialties, and the craft level ranked first in China. The agate snuff bottle is famous for its beautiful materials, various shapes and exquisite carvings. The brilliance comes from its fascinating variety of shapes, such as beautiful shoulders, double-moon, fish-shaped, etc., as well as flat, waist, peach, egg, etc., all of which are extremely skillful.

The snuff bottle is small in shape and can be played in the palm of the hand. The square inch is exquisite and the art is unique. I have a collection of more than a hundred photos of processing snuff bottles, which often reminds me of that period of time. The processing experience of that period made me unforgettable. The jade carvings should promote the traditional characteristics of Su Zuyu and make a difference.
